Nesting

I think my husband has a case of nesting!! But in a different way than you might think… In the past three days we have made and bottled some licorice rootbeer (licorice is good for inducing labor! 😉 ), made an irish stout, bottled a pale ale and some honey mead, made apple-maple jam and lots of apple sauce (about 30 pounds worth). I don’t think our kitchen has ever been so messy but good smelling! We used our pressure canner for the first time, and it was very easy, although we thought we were going to steam the wall paper right off the walls. :)I took M for her 18 month check-up today, too, and she is just as healthy as can be. Just above average across the board, except for her language, which is just exploding! She’s got more than 100 words and is eavesdropping on every conversation. Such a little sponge!I’ve started yet another present (which must remain a surprise)- maybe it will get done before the new baby comes… 6 days and counting!!!
