I have another completed project to brag about. Nate’s Trekking socks are DONE!! I am being very productive lately. 🙂 He tried them on and they are a perfect fit, although I don’t think he will be able to wear them until the fall, since they are wool based. I did find that it is much easier to wear socks than photograph them. Enjoy!
Don’t they just look comfy?
Project specs: Trekking XXL yarn (75% new wool, 25% polyamid), number 113. The pattern is from Ann Norling- adult basic socks (designed by Deirdre Wallace). I extended the leg about 2 inches to make it calf length since Nate has much longer legs than me. I used about 3/4 of a 100 gram ball.
Now onward to finish Katja and work on the new mystery socks… oooh… what will they be like?
