I think I’m starting to look forward to a new color scheme. Not that I don’t have lots to do in the blue/gray/white realm, but I am finding that I don’t work as well with a “have to do” project vs. a “want to do.” And, I want to work on spring colors. 🙂 It’s finally warming up around here- crocuses are blooming, we’re wearing lighter coats, we have to bring the bird feeders in at night to avoid feeding the bears… You know. And I am DYING for a little sun.
My poor girl. She was so tired. Amazing how cute kids look when they are sleeping. We’ve all been sick with nasty colds, so it’s been a long week. When she conked out on Daddy, we couldn’t help but take some shots. Notice the gray shirt…
Here’s the progress on my blue/white Dublin Bay’s. I’ve rounded the heel and am starting gusset decreases. I’m much happier with this pattern. And I didn’t realize the yarn was not only mosaic, but somewhat self striping as well! I do like the colors.
Otherwise I’ve been wasting some mindless time recovering from my cold (made worse since I can’t take any decongestants) doing a little scrapping. I’m trying to get a little more creative with my designs. Not sure they’d ever be published, but the book is getting done!
Everyone have a healthy weekend. I should be up to posting more often now that I’m starting to feel better. 🙂
