Whew!! I logged all my needles today. I guess it’s a good thing, since I found out I have FIVE sets of size 2 DPN’s and three sets of size 1… Maybe that’s not much for some people out there, but I was a bit surprised by it! I’ve been trying to put my projects on the site, too, but I find it difficult to log the progress. My FO’s are up, although my pictures aren’t the greatest. 🙂 I am in several groups- including the Summer Knitting Olympics (really the olympic trials for the next winter match up) and I’m trying to get a good project ready. My last attempt was a bit too big for my britches (Samus, winter 2006). I’ve been trying to find a cute sweater for B for next year. The ones from Phildar are really cute, but you need to get a pattern written in French for the ones I like. Maybe that would be enough of a challenge- to translate a pattern and make it in two weeks? Hmmm…..
Anyway, I’m busy with the Sockdown: March socks from Sock Knitters Anonymous, the Random Rib Socks for SAM5, a little cotton sweater for Easter for B and I’m contemplating designing a knit toy for M’s birthday. Yes, she will be 4, but I think every little girl needs stuffed friends. I’ve got one bobbin of my fire wool spun and have started on the second and I’m thinking about sewing again. I’ve seen some adorable patterns for little dresses lately and might just have to jump on that while I still have my Mother-in-law’s sewing machine. My last attempt (applique for Christmas) went HORRIBLY awry, so I’m a bit gun shy right now.
OK- off to enjoy some sun while it’s above freezing. Look what I found in my garden today!!
